Joseph GeorgeEVANSMervyn Railway Terrace, Trefil 1921 - 2008 Margaret, Paul, Julie and their families take this opportunity to publicly thank all their relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy, the cards of condolence, telephone calls and the prayerful support they have all received following the sad loss of a most dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Special thanks to the bearers and to all who gave of their time to attend Mervyn's funeral service at Sardis Chapel, Trefil and Dukestown Cemetery and for the generous donations in lieu of floral tributes. Many thanks to all the Community Nurses and the staff of the Hospice of the Valleys for their unfailing kindness and care with heartfelt thanks to Jayne Medlicott whose unstinting devotion to duty went beyond the call of duty and was indeed a great comfort. Most grateful thanks to Reverend Clive Davies for the personal and deeply moving service and to Mr Bill Jenkins for his tributes on behalf of 'Mervyn's Choir' The Gospel Sound.
